Feelings after joining the student exchange program at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand

We have just completed the AIMS program (student exchange among South East Asian countries) at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in the second semester, 2016- 2017 (from January 2017 to May 2017). Through this exchange, we have acquired a lot of specialized knowledge from teachers at KMUTT, as well as experiencies on the culture and people of Thailand.

King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, Thailand is not only a modern, dynamic learning environment, but also environmentally friendly. The Self-Study Room for Civil Engineering is a place where we can learn, do group work, and have the opportunity to interact with our peers. In particular, the teachers teach enthusiastic, receptive, always encourage the spirit of self-learning and create opportunities for us to improve teamwork skills, presentation skills.

Besides, the Thai students were very happy and ready to help us to integrate. They told us a lot about the life, history, traditional customs of Thailand. In addition, Thai students were enthusiastic to take us to visit the famous sites in Bangkok, and introduce the delicious dishes of each region.

KMUTT is one of the top universities in Thailand, attracting many international students. Study here helps us to get acquainted with you from many countries in the world such as America, France, Taiwan, Pakistan, Indonesia, Korea, Ethiopia, ... You bring cultural diversity. We share stories of religion, race, culture together. Bangkok is the most developed city in Thailand. It has a lot of delicious food, modern shopping, crowded with many diverse markets, abundant commodities. Thai people are highly aware of the environment and always have a friendly attitude.

The exchange semester in Thailand has left us with many beautiful memories. We would d like to thank the  School of International Education for allowing us to participate in the exchange program in Thailand. Hopefully, in the coming time, many of you will have the chance to participate in this exchange program.
